As part of AXA’s home insurance benefits, we offer Emergency Home Assistance to all our customers 24/7 regardless of where in the country they are. Our Emergency Home Assistance is designed specifically for minor emergencies such as plumbing issues or a broken window.
How does Emergency Home Assistance work?
When you find yourself in an emergency, simply contact our Emergency Home Assistance team on 1890 253 347 and we will help guide you through the process. Once we understand the details of your emergency, our team will then arrange for an AXA-approved qualified tradesperson to visit your home and carry out an emergency repair , allowing you to arrange for a permanent repair at a later date.
Each of our customers can avail of up to four Emergency Home Assistance call outs per year. These call outs come at no additional cost and will not impact your no claims discount.
Will AXA help if we need to move because of a home emergency?
At AXA, we understand that having an unforeseen emergency can be a stressful time, particularly if you need to move out of your home. If it is determined that you need to move out of the premises in order for the tradesperson to repair the covered issue, we will pay up to €100 towards overnight alternative accommodation for you and your family.
If it is discovered that your home needs further repair and is deemed unfit to live in, AXA’s Home Insurance will help cover your alternative accommodation. Please refer to your policy documents for further information.
