AXA continues to support our customers throughout the Covid-19 crisis.

As part of an initiative coordinated by Insurance Ireland, AXA is happy to confirm that we will be making a payment to our hundreds of thousands of motor insurance customers in the Republic of Ireland in recognition of the reduction in the level of motor claims experienced as a result of the Covid-19 crisis. This is the first such initiative ever undertaken in the motor insurance market in Ireland and it will see AXA return millions of euros to our customers.

Currently, we are working through the practical logistics of how we will provide this once-off payment to customers. We will confirm these details and complete the payments over the coming weeks.

This payment is in addition to the other initiatives which we have put in place to support customers throughout the crisis. In particular, we know some customers are worried about being unable to make payments, please rest assured we will be as flexible as possible so if this is a concern, please contact us at 01 892 7049. We’re available from 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday.

Speaking today, AXA Ireland CEO Phil Bradley, said; "AXA is very mindful of the impact of this crisis on individuals and businesses and the challenges they are facing and we are taking a number of steps to support our customers at this time."
