As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, we're getting a lot of calls, which means that now more than ever, we’re asking that our customers use our self-service options. See below for some frequently asked questions, followed by what you can do online.

AXA continues to support our customers throughout the COVID-19 crisis.

AXA is providing a once-off refund of €30 to all of our 640,000 motor insurance customers in the Republic of Ireland. The refund will be issued to all Private Car, Van, Taxi and Motorcycle customers in recognition of the reduction in the level of motor claims experienced as a result of the COVID-19 crisis.

This is the first such initiative ever undertaken in the motor insurance market in Ireland and it will see AXA return approximately €20 million to our customers.

You do not need to do anything to receive this refund. If you pay by direct debit, we will transfer the payment directly to the bank account used to pay your premium. If you paid in full, we will issue a cheque to the last address we have on file for you.

We will start to issue payments from June 15th, please bear with us, processing this volume of payments may take several weeks to complete.

This payment does not have any impact on your policy cover, or terms and conditions.
