Is it safe to pay over the internet?

  • Yes, if you choose to pay your premium online your details will be safe and secure. All our payments are handled by Realex Payments.

I missed a monthly payment, what should I do?

  • In most cases we will reapply to your bank for a second time within one week.You may make the payment now and select "Pay missed monthly instalment" from the drop down menu.


    Please confirm with your bank prior to paying again as payments may have already been requested a second time.

Can I choose when my monthly instalment is collected from my bank account?

  • Unfortunately no, our direct debit collection dates are fixed for all our customers. We collect monthly payments on the first working day of every month.

What are the payment options available online?

  • Payments in full

    You can pay your policy in full online. Please go to our payment form and select "Pay renewal in full" from the drop down menu.


    Monthly payments

    With our monthly payment plan you can spread your premium over 10 payments. If you choose to pay your premium monthly, you will pay 15% of the premium upfront as a deposit. The rest of the premium will be spread over 9 equal instalments and collected from your bank account on the first working day of every month. Direct debit payments are subject of interest charge of 6.715% and APR of 17.04. Full time students who purchase Studentfirst package can avail of 12 months interest fee payment plan.


    New customers

    If you just purchased a new policy and would like to pay the amount if full please click here and select Pay amount outstanding from the drop down menu.

If I have an additional payment due on my policy, how can I pay this?

  • You can pay the additional payment due on your policy online. Please click here and select "Pay amount outstanding" from the drop down menu.


    Alternatively you can call us on 1890 24 7 365 or if you would prefer to pay by post, we can accept payment by cheque, postal order or bank draft made payable to AXA Insurance. Please write your policy number on the back of your cheque, order or draft.
