Landlord legal costs

We cover legal costs to help recover possession of the property if tenants breach the law regarding payment of rent, or their lease agreement.

Loss of rent and alternative accommodation

If the property is not fit to live in due to damage or loss, we will pay you the amount of rent you lost during the time, up to a maximum of 20% of the buildings sum insured. We also provide cover for alternative accommodation for your tenants until the damage is fixed.

Accidental damage to the property

We'll cover accidental damage to the building as standard - because accidents happen. This includes any accidental damage made by tenants, like cracking floor tiles or putting a foot through the attic floor.

Accidental damage to landlord's contents

Cover the contents belonging to you. This covers any accidental damage made by tenants to items like the sofa, beds or white appliances.

Contents in the open

Covers loss or damage to contents on the property land, such as garden furniture, for up to €1000.
