How to change your car using MyAXA

  1. Login to MyAXA

    If you do not have a MyAXA account you can register for one here. You will need your policy number during setup.

  2. Locate the policy you wish to change in the My Policies section and select View policy.

  3. Is the change of car permanent (i.e. you've bought a new car), or do you need a temporary change of cover to drive someone else's car?

  4. Select ‘Permanent’ or 'Temporary' change car options in the My Policies section.

  5. Select Permanent from the options, then enter the date you want the change to take effect from.

  6. In the Vehicle details section, enter the registration number of the new car then press Find car You will then be asked to confirm we have found the correct vehicle.

    If the vehicle details displayed are incorrect, please contact us on 0818 7 365 24 to complete this policy change.

  7. Complete the remaining questions in the Vehicle details section

  8. Answer all the legal declarations

  9. Check the details you have provided are correct, then press Continue

  10. Review price

    Changing your vehicle may affect your annual premium.

  11. Please select any optional extras you want to add to your policy

  12. Select Temporary from the options.

  13. Select the reason for changing your car.

  14. Select the dates and times you want the temporary cover to start and end.

  15. Answer the question relating to the main driver and press Continue

  16. In the Vehicle details section, enter the registration number of the new car then press Find car You will then be asked to confirm we have found the correct vehicle.

    If the vehicle details displayed are incorrect, please contact us on 0818 7 365 24 to complete this policy change.

  17. Complete the remaining questions in the Vehicle details section

  18. Answer all the legal declarations

  19. Confirm your details are correct, then press Continue

  20. Review price

    Temporarily changing your vehicle may incur a charge. Please see our transaction charges for more information

  21. Is payment due?

    If your premium has increased or if you've added some optional cover, payment may now be due. If so, you will be redirected to our payment provider's website. Please select which applies to you:


  22. To finalise the amendment, press Confirm Change

    That's it! Your change of car will come into effect at the date and time you have chosen. We will email you with a confirmation of your policy change shortly.

  23. Press Pay Now You will then be transferred to our payment provider's website

  24. Enter your credit/debit card details and submit the form

    Please don't close the browser window! You will be redirected once the payment process is complete

  25. Confirmation - Thank you!

    That's it! Your change of car will come into effect at the date and time you have chosen. We will email you with a confirmation of your policy change shortly.
